Cowboy Flying Saucer bleep, wobble, wonk, scrape, crash, bash, rumble, speaksing surreal, eccentric, time travel dreams. Can, The Fall, Captain Beefheart, PiL, Test Department, Happy Mondays and Gong stumble dancing at the disco. Extemporaneous mangled Krautrock, psychedelic punk funk, post-punk. Praised by Uncut Magazine, The Wire, Gideon Coe and Stuart Maconie of BBC 6Music, the group's hypnotic reverberations cultivate love from critics and fans alike. SPeW are a four piece outfit hailing from East London. Whilst the band have gleaned comparisons to NYC ‘no wave’ groups such as Bush Tetras and ESG, the self styled purveyors of ‘wonk-funk' plough their own furrow. Angular, no wave, punk wonk sounds. Sax, bass, noise guitar. Danceable songs of toxic dirt, lust and grandma. Me=U is a band composed of a collective of musicians, film makers, performance artists, poets and revolutionaries. Art in the heart is where Me=U starts, first breath. Fronted by Patrick Lyons; poet, broadcaster, promoter and key figure in the South London underground music scene. His Radio show and music night "Ph7 Neutral Zone" has given a platform for bands like Fat White Family, King Krule, Meat Raffle, Warmdusher and scores of others. Walthamstow rockers High Functioning generate intoxicated and intoxicating proto-punk / sub-metal. Psycho-delic rock’n’roll, pummeling your eardrums with a motorik heartbeat suffering from palpitations.
