Skylines is an exciting new band playing the music of the legendary progressive rock band, Camel. The 2022 shows will feature a full performance of Camel’s classic The Snow Goose, a forty minute piece based on the famous book by Paul Gallico.
The Snow Goose is Camel’s best known and loved album, an eclectic mixture of rock, jazz rock, and classical, it shifts through many different moods; from soaring guitar solos and thundering drum fills to atmospheric keyboards and reflective pastoral passages, it has rightly earned its place at the very top of progressive rock’s pantheon of all-time greats.
The Snow Goose was last played live in its entirety at London’s Barbican in 2013. It may never be played again, in its full form … except by Skylines! Skylines’ second set will feature top tracks from Camel’s classic albums such as Breathless, Rain Dances and many more
