After his recent solo spot at What's Cookin' Luke returns with his band The Penny Dreadfuls.
Country-blues rocker Luke Tuchscherer (pronounced Tuck-Shearer) is an acclaimed singer/songwriter from Bedford. He released his solo acoustic record, Carousel, through Clubhouse Records last year, his fourth album in five years. Luke's introduction to the UK Americana scene came via the highly regarded alt.country band The Whybirds, with whom Luke sang and
played drums. Now fronting his own band The Penny Dreadfuls, his influences include Steve Earle, Tom Petty and Uncle Tupelo.
