The critics have been forming an orderly queue to heap praise on Bróna McVittie’s shoulders since the release of her debut solo album, We Are the Wildlife in 2018. Her 2nd album The Man in the Mountain was ranked 4th in The Guardian's 10 Best Folk Albums of 2020.

As Jude Rogers puts it, “You’re put in the place of a bird navigating wide open landscapes, absorbing light, space and air. This is music that takes you on its wing, and gives you fresh visions.”

If Virginia Astley, Joanna Newsom and The Unthanks appeal to your ears and heart, then County Down native Bróna is your new favourite artist. She performs solo with vocals, harp, guitar and electronics. This autumn she is on tour promoting her eagerly anticipated third album.
