Event information
Thame Chamber Choir, in collaboration with the wonderful pianist Anna Markland, present an evening devoted to the musical evocation of flowers. Sweet, delightful lilies are mixed with winter roses; fair daffodils jostle with deadly nightshade as composers create a flowerscape as varied, and as enjoyable, as the flora themselves. While the choir will relish a rare foray into Ed Sheeran (Supermarket Flowers) alongside more familiar composers (great madrigalists of the 16th and 20th centuries like Gibbons, Wilbye, Finzi and Britten), Join us, and let Anna's magical playing encompass you.
