Tony Green was the unforgettable frontman of popular Brighton psychedelic group The Sumerian Kyngs. Tony bought a distinctive style, part iggy, part Beefheart, part Tom Waits as his surrealistic poetry added to the swampy swirls of sounds of the Sumerian psychedelic soup and a touch of anarchy could lead the live show anywhere, often to the total bemusement of anyone who happened to be in the vicinity of the event!

We sadly lost Kyng Tony to cancer during the pandemic and now is the right time to remember Tone with a special memorial gig, featuring his band mates from the Sumerian Kyngs, joined by vocalist Joe Moon (last seen at the RMC with Lost As Alice) and good friends Paradise 9 in support.
