Plumhall are an electrifying duo from Yorkshire whose award-winning
original songs are earning them well deserved plaudits from the likes of Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff) and Steve Knightley (Show of Hands). PLUMHALL pack a punch with powerful acoustic guitar and luscious harmony-driven textures of original contemporary folk rock.

THE PHIL LANGRAN BAND:
Phil’s songs are a powerful combination of immediacy and slow-burning subtlety. He is a writer steeped in the poetic traditions of Robert Frost and Langston Hughes. The result is a brilliant intertwining of Americana, Celtic,
Folk and Blues themes in distinctive original songs. Phil is joined on stage by a group of luminary musicians drawn together by the quality of his song writing.

Poppy Folk Club - Covid Precautions (Spring 2022)

National regulations have changed but we are still following Public Health guidance. We will do all we can to improve ventilation, limit numbers as appropriate to facilitate social distancing, and make hand sanitizer available. For the moment we won't be having our after-concert singaround and music sessions .
