Elgar: Froissart Overture
Schumann: Piano Concerto
Rimsky - Korsakov: Scheherazade
The concert opens with Elgar's Froissart, a musical evocation of the age of chivalry. Barbara White is the piano soloist in Schumann's Piano Concerto, followed by Rimsky- Korsakov's depiction of Arabian fairytales told by the beautiful Scheherazade.
The concert is in the Main Hall at Richmond School.
