CLSW return with a highly enjoyable summer programme, under the baton of Alan Duguid. This early evening concert includes music from Porgy & Bess, including the famous 'Summertime' , alongside other classic jazz pieces and music from the Americas. The programme will also feature Love for Sale (with solo trombone) and Piazzolla's Oblivion (with solo oboe). With the programme also featuring El Camino Real (Reed), Bacchus on Blue Ridge (Horowitz), and the best of Earth Wind & Fire, there is something for everyone! Children and students are very welcome and can take advantage of discounted tickets. Refreshments (including cake) will be available at the interval.
