Poetics of Counterpoint' by Ayesha Mailey and Colin Norrby

Echo Echo Ensemble artist, Ayesha Mailey and composer, Colin Norrby received funding from the ACNI Creative Recovery Programme to research and develop a new performance work. Ayesha and Colin explored the sound and movement of the breath as a starting point. They played with repetition, accumulation and layering to create texture and meaning. Exploring patterns in the movement and music and discovering what emerged poetically to create this solo dance piece with lighting design by Barry Davis.

'Trine' by Kelly Quigley

Trine is a work in progress by Ensemble artist Kelly Quigley, where she reimagines the power of three rule through embodied memory and imagination. Using triads such as Past-Present-Future, Maiden- Mother-Crone, Time- Space- Presence and emotional-intellectual-spiritual to create improvised movement.

Echo Echo Studios are fully accessible with platform lift and hearing induction loop installed.
