Brazen Thieves is a London-based folk group, consisting of Laura Woolf (vocals/violin), Lucy Gaster (vocals/cello) and Rebecca Woolf (vocals/guitar). Together they sing songs of heartbreak and hangings, with distinctive arrangements and a cappella offerings from their London roots to New England’s Sacred Harp tradition
Meeting on Instagram back in 2018 and combining Nick Losse’s stunning compositions and intricate guitar playing with Jess Distill’s imaginative lyrics and beautiful vocals, Vik are inspired by folktales, pop and ambient music. The Hertfordshire based duo play folkgaze sounds with guitar, dulcimer and pedals, and tell tall tales of rogues and sailors, love and witches and icy tundras…
