Leamington music promoters In The Moment are proud to announce ‘Musical Exchanges’, a short season of performances and workshops to celebrate the cultural enrichment that has grown out of the Commonwealth. The events are financially assisted by Leamington and Warwick Town Councils, and form part of Culturefest2022 linked to the Commonwealth Games.
Here Interplay Jazz Group appears with Kathak dancer and singer Awantika Dubey. Awantika lives in the West Midlands and performs across the Far East in places such as India, Taiwan and China as well as here. ‘Indian-Jazz Fusion’ will reveal how both musical traditions achieve rhythmic and melodic excitement and expression through improvisation.
The Dormer Centre has a ramped front entrance and is single level throughout.
