Five years since they last absolutely pummeled our eyes, ears, and bodies, Sly & The Family Drone are back in town with the heaviest avant-garde jamz that you can really get down to. Using drums, baritone sax, and heavily processed electronics Sly break down music to its base elements and reconstruct as cathartic rituals of amplifier worship, communing with the audience-as-congregation by everyone getting right up in there, into the heart of the chaos. True believers in the ecstatic possibilities of noise they are here to bludgeon you with cacophonic joy and camaraderie, oscillating your body and modulating your mind into triumphant submission.
