Oh yes it is… a spectacular triple bill, starring Slyder Smith and the Oblivion Kids, featuring Nina Courson with special guests, Healthy Junkies and Soho Dukes!
To mark the release of their new single, the guitar driven re-imagining of the iconic 80s bubblegum pop smash hit, The NeverEnding Story on digiatal download & special ltd edition cassette Slyder and his band of merry men role into town with a cast of London Royalty
Opening the show will be Soho Dukes - delightfully eccentric punks bringing a colourful bravado to the stage! Next to tread the boards will be the glamourous rebel punkster, Nina Courson and her band, Healthy Junkies – serving up a mix of Punk Rock, Grunge, Psychedelic Rock, New Wave, Garage, Glam and Goth Rock, with a soupçon of theatre.
The stage is now set for our headliners, Slyder Smith and the Oblivion Kids (Tim Emery and Carl Donoghue – new drummer – he’s behind you!) - a power trio delivering lashings of grit, glamour and a see-saw of emotion! Since releasing their debut album, ‘Charm Offensive’ in August this year, the band have attracted plenty of media attention with rave reviews in magazines including Powerplay, Fireworks, Vive le Rock & ERB plus extensive radio airplay on BBC Radio 2, Planet Rock, BBC Music Introducing, Radio Caroline and many more.
The trio have been perfecting their live performance over the past few month with a range of support dates with special guests to the Electric Boys
Expect a night full of audience participation, shameless party games, bad dad jokes and general festive debauchery! What could possibly go wrong?!
