The Emily Francis Trio is one of the hottest acts on the UK jazz scene.
The band’s line-up is Emily Francis (piano, keyboards), Trevor Boxall (bass), and Jamie Murray (drums). Their approach to the piano trio format mixes influences from 70s electronic jazz, prog-rock, classic pop, Scandinavia, and the current New York scene. The result is compositionally rich original music, with an emphasis on melody and groove.
