Get creative in this accessible workshop where you will learn a range of techniques exploring colour, composition & gestural mark making to create an abstract portrait. You'll have the opportunity to use mediums such as watercolour, pastel & pen. You'll be taught by experienced fine artist & tutor Emma Morrissey who will guide you through each step of the process in a fun and relaxed workshop. Suitable for both beginners and those looking to improve their skills.

Please note, we will not be working with a model in this session. All levels of experience are welcome and all materials will be provided. There will be a short break for lunch - you are welcome to go out or bring your own.

This is programmed to celebrate the final day of Lucy Ash's exhibition Invisible Portraits and will take inspiration from the exhibition.
