Elysium's Winter Concert explores the theme of water in all its forms, with choral and orchestral repertoire based on the world's most prominent natural resource. The Elysium Consort's programme touches on water, ice, rain and snow, and features two commissions, written by Jay Piamjaryakul and Natasha Sofla.
The second half is a concert of Joseph Haydn's well-known Missa de Angustiis, otherwise referred to as his 'Nelson' Mass. The Consort is joined not only by the Elysium Orchestra, but also the newly-formed Elysium Chorus, a community choir set up for this event.
We hope you'll join us at St Mary Brookfield for this concert. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and special offers on tickets are available for family groups, including free tickets for children under the age of 11. It should be a spectacular concert!
