Chris Letcher and Victoria Hume are singer-songwriters from South Africa and the UK. They will be playing with long-term collaborators Andrew Joseph (bass) and David Eugene Webb (drums) for a one-off reunion gig in London.
“Koppies transport us immediately into a dream world” (Beats to the Bar)
“You know something special is about to unfold” (Travellers Tunes)
Chris has won a number of awards for his songwriting and film music, including a SAFTA for best original score. His previous collaboration with fellow singer-songwriter Matthew van der Want led to a series of nominations at the South African Music Awards; the duo’s album ‘Bignity’ was one of the Mail and Guardian’s top ten albums of the decade (2000–2010). Victoria’s EP Closing was chosen by Lauren Laverne as one of her Best of 2016. She is regularly played on BBC6 Music including a session for Marc Riley. They have performed everywhere from Green Man to Oppi Koppi and a lots of small pubs in between.
Chris and Victoria’s most recent collaboration with Matthew van der Want resulted in a new outfit called Koppies, who released an EP in late 2021 as a joint venture between Isle of Eigg-based label Lost Map and South Africa’s Shifty Records.
The EP epitomises their unique combination of filmic, dreamy and direct.

Fell is Nicolas Burrows, Jon Rulton, Matt de Kersaint Giraudeau and Dav Shiel. Fell’s songs are driven by Nicolas’s wry, off-kilter lyrics, considered vocal delivery and playful compositions: jangly guitar-pop and slow-burning pastoral folk sit alongside psychedelic freak-outs and krautrock rhythms. Nicolas’ intimate vocals float on top of woozy seaside organs and tape-wobbled guitars.
Fell’s first record, ‘There Still Are Mysteries’ was produced by Andy Ramsay of Stereolab and played extensively across BBC 6 Music. Currently signed to Lost Map, Fell’s ‘For The Pickling’ EP was released in 2019, produced by Peggy Sue/Landshapes’ Dan Blackett, featuring appearances by David Thomas Broughton and Luisa Gerstein of Deep Throat Choir. During 2020, Fell began ‘Sides’ - a singles project releasing two tracks at a time all the way from Side A up to Side Z…
'Beautiful, witty baroque pop- very special indeed' Lauren Laverne, BBC 6 Music.
'I really, really love hid delivery; it's incredibly personal...a beautiful voice' Guy Garvey, BBC 6 Music
