Iwan Kushka:

'For Nobody' is a collaboration between spoken word and experimental sounds.
Iwan Kushka is presenting his new book 'For Nobody', with David Pearson on electronic soundscapes and Becky Doe on viola: an atmospheric prose-poem trip following the adventures of Nobody.

Before that, there'll be a solo set from Nemo Jones. He recently appeared at our 'Not Only But Also the Blues' during the final jam session. He was fab, and prompted requests to see him play again here soon. We're delighted to welcome him back so quickly for a full set of his music. Have a listen at nemojones.com.

Nemo Jones has composed, performed, recorded and toured with artists including Sia, Urban Species, Faithless, Maxi Jazz, Thunderworld, Gary Katz, Nigel Godrich, Chumbawumba, Lamb, Raw Stylus, Alison Moyet, Barefoot Doctor, Eve Libertine, Galliano, Toni Childs, Peter and Alice Oswald and Jamie Woon.

He has performed around the world, at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Brixton Academy and Glastonbury main stage. His first solo album, Superfruity, features idiosyncratic and soulful songs which artfully blend an eclectic blend of seventies and eighties funk, rock and pop influences.
