Andy Twyman

Andy’s one man band act is a unique blend of blues music with comedy, cabaret and rock and roll. The result is an exciting and entertaining show packed with heart and humour. Andy has found a place as one of the most original emerging acts on the circuit today. His distinct style has been heard and seen at Glastonbury Festival, on BBC Radio and Channel 4.
"The master of the one man band...a first class musician and songwriter”
Blues in Britain Magazine
"Andy Twyman is a one man 100% genuine blues boogie machine...like John Lee Hooker on acid with a touch of the clash thrown in"
Blog of the Blues

Annie Em & Eloise

An acoustic duo who combine their uniquely different vocal tones with guitar to create rich harmonies and haunting melodies, Annie Em and Eloise have recently begun writing original songs although integrate their own distinctive style into covers. Despite having diverse inspiration for their music they create a soulful, hypnotic, subtly melancholy sound

Mat Walklate & Alex Haynes

This pairing is a convergence of talent from two highly distinctive British Blues artists. Having already built individual reputations, award-winning harmonica player/blues singer Mat Walklate and acclaimed blues singer/guitarist Alex Haynes have come together, drawing on the deepest roots of the blues to create fresh and relevant songs, which expand British Blues into new territory.
This collaboration brings out the best in both artists - their sound is rockin', rollin' & blues boppin'

Morton Valence

“Just about the most intriguing band on these shores” The Guardian

“One of the great mysteries of the 21st century is why Morton Valence aren’t huge” Mojo Magazine

“Elegant outlaws” Rolling Stone

Morton Valence are a fascinating, unique duo, formed around the vocal pairing of Anne Gilpin and Robert ‘Hacker’ Jessett. They describe their music as ‘urban country’ - theirs is an idiosyncratic songwriting style, which is very much informed by Americana, but with a heart and soul firmly rooted in the UK, creating something that is both familiar and innovative... and 100% authentic. As written in the Guardian, they are "just about the most intriguing band on these shores”.

Their recorded work and live performances have been acclaimed by both audiences and critics across the UK and Europe. Their single 'Sailors' was described as "the best single you've never heard of the past decade" (BBC Music), while their song 'Chandelier' was a BBC Radio Two single of the week.

Their eighth album - eponymously titled - was released on November 17th and has been getting superb reviews.

"The songwriting just gets better and better, grittily romantic slices of English life, inhabited by characters you know, or have at least seen propping up the bar in a dingy pub" Narc, 5 stars

"Another deliciously forlorn album from one of Britain’s most underrated perennials" The Arts Desk, 4 stars

"Morton Valence have struck gold" Uncut, 8/10

Nick Pynn & Kate Daisy Grant

Nick Pynn ("the octopus of sound" Stewart Lee; "music of immense imagination & skill" The Glasgow Herald) & Kate Daisy Grant ("Mesmerising...with fearless creativity" Clash Magazine; "songs that seem like exotic birds" Rich Hall) bring their award-winning Fringe show to Oxted.

"Brighton-based musician Pynn has always been a maverick one-man orchestra, as treasured by alternative comedians as by folkies. But since hooking up with quirk-pop songstress Kate Daisy Grant things have got even more playful, as the pair demonstrate their proficiency on an incredible number of instruments, and non-instruments, alike. A hit on the Edinburgh Fringe, their shows are a combination of avant-folk and experi-pop, presented with warmth, wit and something a bit like magic"
Time Out

Our Man In The Field

Familiar to those of you who saw their brilliant duo set when they opened for Jerry Joseph, this time Alexander Ellis returns with a full band!
Al will be joined by Henry Senior (pedal steel/dobro - who appeared at the JJ show), Greg Bishop (drums/harmonies) and Tom Rosenfeld (bass).
Their sound? You can't put your finger on it and maybe you don't need to anyway. It lies somewhere between indie, folk and Americana. There have been favourable comparisons to Ray LaMontagne, David Gray, Damian Rice, but OMITF can't be pigeonholed.
Their debut album 'The Company of Strangers', released in 2020, reached number 3 in the European Americana chart and earned the band breakthrough act of the year with Americana-UK plus a nomination for ‘UK Song of the Year’ at the AMA-UK Awards.
The band's sophomore album ‘Gold On The Horizon’, recorded earlier this year in Portland, Oregon, will be released next year.

Wyatt Riot

Wyatt Riot aka Steve Gamble is originally from South London. He spent 18 years living in Oxted before relocating to Ramsgate on the Kent coast for its rich art and music scene.
Whilst musically Wyatt is rooted in early Americana citing influences such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Woody Guthrie. Lyrically he takes his cues from punk and new wave legends Ian Dury, Elvis Costello and Billy Bragg.
