London-based Polish pianist Lucas Krupinski is the winner of the 7th San Marino International Piano Competition and all of its contest prizes: the Audience Award, the Music Critics' Award, and the Orchestra Award. Lucas was a finalist in the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, and has won international piano competitions in Hanover (2015), Aachen (2016), and Goerlitz (2020). As a semi-finalist he ranked among the best 20 pianists in the 17th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw (2015).

Our piano is a fine Hamburg Model B Grand (2015) chosen for us by Ulrich Gerhartz, Steinway & Sons' Director of Artist & Concert Services. It is maintained by Steinways and tuned by them before each recital.
After the concert we offer a delicious finger buffet tea with freshly-made sandwiches, savouries, homemade cakes and chocolate biscuits, accompanied by your choice of wine, tea, coffee or juice. Tea tickets are £10 (standard), or just £5 (students and schoolchildren). They can be bought with cash on the door. We can cater for up to 80.
There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet. Wheelchair users pay the concessionary (Seniors') ticket price and their carer comes free. Please email info@chopin-society.org.uk for full details.
