Ceremonial Laptop presents a night of global classical, improvisation and electronics. Featuring South Asian-influenced pianist and sound artist Helen Anahita Wilson, the dark cinematic string compositions of James Osler's Pillow ensemble, and the lo-fi sounds and vocals of D. Inver.
Helen Anahita Wilson is a pianist, improviser, sound artist, and composer. Her work focuses on sonic life writing and collaborative composition in South Asian styles. She is a regular collaborator with tabla player Shahbaz Hussain, and has recently worked with Talvin Singh, the Mysore Brothers, and Debashish Bhattacharya.

Pillow is a new string ensemble performing the dark and cinematic compositions of musician and composer James Osler. Sighting influences from artists such as Nick Drake, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie and Bill Frisell, Pillow embarks on telling their own story.
