I am John Grant originally from Sheffield, I have been a drummer for over 50yrs now and still going with my current band RIFFLER who have been around for 15 yrs.

My first gig was at the YMACA in Sheffield with my beloved friend Graham Madin sadly he is no longer with us, it was the most frightening experience I have ever encountered.

Then onto performing with Sheffield's own Joe Cocker at the Pheasant Pub Sheffield lane top, I got the taste for more to which over the years I have had the privilege of performing with so many great guys and bands from all over, and I don’t regret not a single late night.

I have decided to put on a Charity event, one to celebrate 15 years with my band RIFFLER and still going, with this event I have nominated the Charity, Chilterns MS Centre.

The reason for this is that more many years I have worked alongside a good friend of mine who is called James Iyenger.

James is an amazing sound engineer and has worked with so many famous people and Bands from all over the world too many to mention

He has also been involved in raising MILLIONS for different charities over the years.

Unfortunately, James has contracted MS which is so sad and has caused him some problems but James being James, just gets his head down and cracks on to please everybody as usual.

James doesn’t get much help with his own Charity SO I thought it's about time WE did something for him Hence the Just 4 You.
