CLUB KONGO IS BACK
Taunton’s wackiest night out ‘Club Kongo’ switches to at a new venue THE EGG BASKET Taunton on Saturday 1st April. Run since 2017 Club Kongo delivers killer live bands, vinyl DJs, 1960s go go dancers, plus the usual freak out, films and visuals.
The latest bill includes, headliners from Bristol ‘LOS DEDOS’, fresh from BBC 6 daytime playlist. They’ll be bringing their wild instumental surf to the county town.
They will be preceeded by psychobilly rockers PLANET STRANGE and opening up will be Cramps-esque bad boys THE FILTHY FAMILY.
PLUS our fantastic 1960s go go girls ‘THE COCKTAIL SHAKERS’ ...and getting the party started (and finsihed) is Kongo favourite Dj LUTHER ‘BIG DOG’ DIXON.
This promises to be another night to remember.
Doors 7.30pm. Gig 8.30pm. Tickets £10 online or £12 OTD.
