The Jigantics are a band from the UK who have previously released three critically acclaimed albums. They are now a four-piece unit with founder members Mark Cole and Martin Fitzgibbon being joined by Sarah Kelly on vocals and bass, plus master guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Keith Thompson.
Keith brings a fantastic voice, virtuoso guitar and wealth of touring experience to the band having toured the length and breadth of the UK and Europe as a solo artist and with his own band. Over the years he has also released a lot of incidental music for television programs and soundtrack projects and he has sold over 100,000 albums.
Sarah Kelly has performed at all the major mainland UK Ukulele festivals and abroad. A covert singer-songwriter, overt ukulele obsessive and eclectic song collector, Sarah loves to perform original songs, old songs, contemporary songs but always true songs: Winner of the Musician’s Union instrumentalist trophy 2017.
Mark Cole (vocals, squeezebox, harmonica, mandolin, guitar) is an irrepressible front man who seemingly is able to pick up almost any instrument and get an exciting noise out of it. A top vocalist, prolific collaborator and in demand international session player. Mark's performance, vocal or instrumental, is always very much from the heart.
Percussionist Martin Fitzgibbon has performed with and in front of, some of the biggest names in the world of popular music, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Lou Reed et al but says the Jigantics are the most exciting project he's ever been involved with.
Mandy Woods has spent a good part of her life giving in to wanderlust and crafting songs wherever she has happened to find herself on her unconventional journey. Mandy has lived and performed on both sides of the Atlantic, and her Americana-infused songs of hope, heartbreak, humour and the highway take their inspiration from her own life and the lives of those around her.
Mandy grew up near Oxford, England, but spent a decade in Austin, Texas, where she sang with fellow singer-songwriter Lara Linette Straughan. After a number of years back in the UK, she made a return visit to the States in 2010, drawn to Nashville, Tennessee, where she wrote several songs with singer-songwriter Terri Calderon. She has since been back to Nashville several times to write and perform.
The title track from Mandy's CD All Along, recorded in London and Florida, earned an Honorable Placement in the International Song of the Year competition, and the following year her song 'Bitter and Twisted' found recognition with GD78 Music.
Mandy’s most recent album, Cabin Fever, features 15 original songs recorded in her Glastonbury cabin studio during the pandemic.
