Join artist Pete Codling alongside the gallery team to discover the artworks on display in 'Creative Connections: Southampton' in more depth and to discuss the creative journey behind the show.

This exhibition seeks to tell the story (or indeed stories) of Southampton through portraiture from the National Portrait Gallery and Southampton City Art Gallery's collections, as well as new work created by Pete Codling and by students from Cantell School. Throughout the project, Pete has worked alongside students from Cantell to consider the stories you can find in these collections and the stories that are yet to tell...

Free to all, these tours are supported as part of the Creative Connections project and accompany the Creative Connections portraiture exhibition in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery.
