Event information

The Songwriting Competition is a yearly event held at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds. In 2023 the Competition will have four heats, where five artists will be judged by a panel on their song writing abilities. There will be one winner from each heat. The winners will go through to the final for a chance to win a bounty of prizes, including a headlining slot at next years event.

The Heats for this event are FREE to attend and the final costing £5.

Competition dates:
Heat 1 – Thursday 8th June
Heat 2 – Thursday 15th June
Heat 3 – Thursday 22nd June
Heat 4 – Thursday 29th June
Final – Friday 7th July
