London-born Lail Arad has been songwriting her way through life for as long as she can remember. Her albums and performances have been heralded by everyone from Paper Magazine to The Financial Times, Billy Bragg to Ezra Furman.

Meanwhile in Montreal, JF Robitaille has been described as “the last romantic out there” (The Gazette). The single Missing You from his 3rd album reached #4 on the CBC Radio national charts. He has opened for the likes of St.Vincent, Jonathan Richman and Sean Lennon.

During a co-headline tour of Italy in 2016, JF & Lail began a collaboration that snowballed in ways they couldn’t have predicted. One hundred shows later, from Italy to India, they’re set to release their debut duo LP later this year.
