Red Balloon Music are proud to present a triple bill of 3 of the finest singer-songwriters of our current time - performing an intimate tour of the UK.


SOFT LAD:

SOFT LAD (aka Sophie Galpin) is no stranger to the music scene, having been either touring or in the studio for most of her adult life. As a musician, she is a multi-instrumentalist for the like of SELF ESTEEM and SOAK. Now she has made her way to the front of the stage with her own heartfelt pop songs, releasing her debut EP ‘Maximum Feels’ in 2022, inspired by the 90s pop of her youth - think Eternal, The Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child, but her songs nod to indie sensibilities such as guitar solos and soaring singalong choruses.

CHARLOTTE CARPENTER:

Following a successful run of early EPs, championed by BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Virgin Radio, with tastemakers like The Line of Best Fit through to rock bible Classic Rock praising Charlotte’s raw, soulful songwriting and with comparisons to the likes of Cream, Cat Power, Bonnie Raitt and PJ Harvey, Charlotte set out to make her debut album which was funded by Help Musicians UK. These summer shows are an inside, intimate look at what’s to come for her long awaited debut which lands Autumn 2023.

KATIE MAC:

Katie Mac is a singer-songwriter from Huyton who has spent the last 10 years turning her hobby into a career. Since 2016, she has toured the UK and Europe respectively and has garnered significant support from the BBC having had multiple tracks played on both BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Merseyside. Taking influence from Laura Marling, Joni Mitchell and Regina Spektor, she has also been compared to the likes of Patti Smith, PJ Harvey and Kate Bush.
