You heard right, dust off your ‘disco shoes’ because local band meta-cassette return to the latest music bar for a long awaited resurgence.
They’ve been bottling up their unique funky indie energy over the last couple of years and and its finally time to get the gang back together for what promises to be a great night out. They’ll of course be playing some of your favourites from their JIPSY MAGIC days along with some unreleased tracks fans will remember from previous gigs.

THE FAMILY DOG
Behind a North London house, guarded by Thor, a beast of a dog, THE FAMILY DOG built a home-made studio called The Box. 5 brothers chewing up Americana, soul, punk, blues, psychedelia & more, then howling it out in gigs resembling “a pack of wild dogs not giving a shit.” Swapping instruments, diving into crowds & embracing the chaos, they’re feral concoction of White Denim, The Black Keys, Curtis mayfield and The Band. Theirs is a story of gurus and adventures, sinners and saints. It all started with Miles Davies. 5 times, from eldest to youngest, mama Dogliani played ‘Kind Of Blue’ during childbirths, the sounds seeped in at stem cell level. Raised in an Irish commune, then Barnet with toy drum kits, old guitars and £5 violins, music was a family calling.

COSMIC BOS
Cosmic Bos are Nick and Andy Jackson, hosts of the Monthly Music Challenge Podcast that make unique and creative music and challenge others to create around different themes each month. Picking up a Judges Choice Award for their 2022 album ‘2 A.M, it’s Mission Time’, Cosmic Bos are rarely seen out in the musical wild and are making a rare live appearance for this special event. Catchy, upbeat, clever and quirky are all words which have been used to describe their music, with thoughtful lyrics and ear worms for days let the brothers Jackson take you on a cosmic tour of the music forest.
