Event information

Join us for our first night of comedy in Clifton, Nottingham!

We've pushed the boat out and gotten you three headline-worthy acts. So, come along, grab a pint, and enjoy an evening with some of the best circuit comedians around!

Alex Hylton

Alex Hylton is one of the fastest rising comics in the Midlands and a presenter and writer for BlueMoonRisingTv. A youthful, energetic new act with relatable anecdotes of adolescence, mixing in one-liners and a smudge of surrealism to create a likable and unique style, Alex is tipped by many to go all the way.

‘A really confident performer, hard to believe he’s only been going a year, set seems well structured and very comfortable on stage!’ – Colin Manford, Manford’s Comedy Clubs

Friz Frizzle

Friz Frizzle is a musical comedian who has sold-out festival shows across the country including at the Edinburgh Fringe. Friz has a parody song ready for (nearly) every moment and their acerbic musical styles are always a hit, sure to end nights on a high.

Friz is an adept at punny language too having appeared at De Montford Hall for the UK Pun Championships and is the winner of Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show 2020. Writer for Mock the Week and The Now Show

"A master of musical comedy" - Comedy Central.

Headliner - Sully O'Sullivan

First landing on TV screens in New Zealand's original stand-up series 'Pulp Comedy', globe trotting Kiwi Comedian Sully O'Sullivan's been declared a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman, won the International Improvaganza Tournament in Canada, featured on Australian TV’s 'The Comedy Channel', supported former WWE Hardcore Wrestling Champion Mick Foley on tour, and in 2021 soldout every single night of his 22 date Edinburgh Fringe run.

“Sully O'Sullivan was amazing.” NME

“A blast of hilarity” Manchester Evening News

“A wicked sense of humour” BBC
