Jazz/Funk Legend
Presented by: Boisdale Ltd0 | LONDON: Boisdale of Canary Wharf |

N | 5:30pm |
One of the most popular and enduring pioneers of modern jazz, Roy Ayers is widely known as ‘the Godfather of jazz-funk.’ His influence on contemporary music is so incalculable, it’s astonishing to think he is now 81-years-old, and his original inspiration came at the age of five when he was given his first pair of vibraphone mallets by legendary bandleader, Lionel Hampton. He is still at the very top of his game as a live performer as he grooves his way through a joyous jazz-funk jukebox that includes a host of timeless classics including Searching, Running Away and his signature song, Everybody Loves The Sunshine.
