Event information
Themed "Music Inspired by Past Times" our Autumn Concert will take place at Cornerstone, Hythe United Reformed Church, at 3pm on Saturday 18th November 2023. The orchestra will be playing a selection of music inspired by history, fairy tales and composers from times gone by, including:

RAFF Sinfonietta for 10 Wind Instruments
BOYCE A Boyce Suite
WALTON Two Pieces from Henry V
BRAHMS Variations on a Theme of Haydn (Saint Anthony Chorale)

Conducted by: Simon Wilkins.
The orchestra is a group of amateur musicians from the Southampton, Solent and New Forest area. It aims to give enjoyment to its members and audiences with performances of classical to light modern orchestral music, including symphonies and concertos, at least three times a year in the Southern Hampshire area.
