Kate Short is a singer-songwriter currently based in Denver, Colorado. Drawing from Americana, bluegrass, and folk, she blends honest lyricism with sensitive production, using lush harmonies and a variety of folk instruments.
Newly graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Comparative Literature, Kate draws upon classical and modern literary themes in her songs to illuminate her own personal questions, creating cross-genre stories that evoke timelessness and nostalgia.
Her guitar-based live performances center on her captivating voice and personal storytelling, and she is touring her new album “Seasons” through the UK and Ireland in August 2023.
