Red Hot Copy Peppers – RHCP trib!…Chilli Peppers that is…this band out of Ireland take the ‘sock on cock’ funky rawk godz material (and there sure is a lot of it) and instil it with much passion and drive. They can really do it, a brilliant and fitting tribute, bringing Californication to Camden. Please buy yourself a ticket- we can’t give it away give it away now.

Messroom - bleak, inward looking grunge meets bleak introspective post punk...and it's quite uplifting. A wounded keening vocal and nice neo goth guitars shimmering...prowling, deviant and joyously dark.

Petty Cassettes – exciting young band from Scotland. Look good, and match that by playing with conviction and passion on stage. Tapping into their forebears to an extent – Orange Juice, Josef K for sure, and perhaps some early TeenageFanclub too.But with some kickass Pixies elements too and something hard rocking but pop all their own. . nicely raw and raucous but always melodic indie…we gave said it before but it’s all about the joyous conviction here. They look like they NEED to do it- great to see…a packed DC utterly took them to their hearts last time round. Check em out!
