JOSH MAGILL - Alt Pop

I write songs because I love telling stories with music. I canâ€™t escape music, it follows me everywhere. I have played on some of the biggest and Iconic stages in America and Europe as a drummer for Syd Arthur and this allowed me to see behind the curtain, it was an amazing view. I want to recreate that success with my own musical vision. I have things to say, views and opinions of the world, stories and anecdotes and advice that has helped me figure out who I am and where I am going. Music allows me to share with you all how I see the world and all that it encompasses. Music is art and art is expression. I am an artist and my name is Josh Magill.

KOLOTO - Glitchy Electronica

Heralding from pastoral Canterbury, Kent, Koloto is the pseudonym of producer and multi-instrumentalist Maria Sullivan.

Kolotoâ€™s sound infuses elements of electronica, post rock, hip hop and Musique concrÃ¨te, and draws influences from artists such as edIT, Four Tet, Baths and Amon Tobin, to name but a few.

Kolotoâ€™s music is a refreshing take on the over-saturated electronica genre, especially as similarity and adherence to passing fads seems to have become the modus operandi. Koloto shuns sample librarys in favor of home made, hand crafted sounds, resulting in a unique pallet of instrumentation that is often hard to define. Editing plays a key role in the compositional process as tiny fragments of sound are intricately interwoven to create complex melodic and rhythmical passages that are both playful and emotive.

LIOTIA - Trip Hop/Folktronica

Liotia (Ly-Oh-Sha) are made up of vocalist-writer and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Hubbard, and producer-engineer and musician Matthew Smyth. The pair have a well-earned reputation for creating ambient, dreamy tracks that sit somewhere between calming and euphoric. Their work is charged with cinematic synth work and encapsulating melody lines.

TIN FOIL ASTRONAUT - Psych Pop

Tin Foil Astronaut is the vehicle for Margate based producer and multi-instrumentalist Max Taylorâ€™s whims and obsessions. What started as bedroom demos, and the fantasy of producing a soundtrack for a western movie, quickly developed into a fully fledged collective crafting alluring psych-pop music. After calling on childhood friends (Wesley Triffitt, guitar, Daniel Elliott, bass, Solomon lawson, drums and Henry Gabbott, keys) to realise Maxâ€™s DIY home recordings as a live force, the group bonded musically over a love of Doo Wop harmonies and Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd soundscapes. Before long, the project's live shows had included opening slots for the likes of Mini Mansions, Olden Yolk and Broken Hands.
