Event information
Novelist Maggie Gee and historian Nick Rankin read from and perform their work. They also spill the beans about what is it like when two writers, competitive creatures that they are, live and work for forty years under the same roof. Featuring Nick's astounding new book about his African childhood, 'Trapped in History; Kenya Mau Mau and Me,' and Maggie's new satirical poem, 'The Ballard of Brexit and the Coda of COVID.' A glass of bubbles and nibbles is included in the ticket price. Further refreshments will be available at additional cost.
