James Williams, Singer, Showman & Entertainer!!

Born and bred in Pontypridd, South Wales…Welsh (and English) speaking James is proud of his heritage and enjoyed growing up in a large and close knit family - just like Tom Jones!

James has always been in the public eye. A keen sportsman and talented young golfer, he was delighted to be chosen to play for Wales in the European Challenge Tour, playing World Class golf, eventually turning professional. He has traveled all over the world, but there is nothing like the “Green Green Grass of Home”

James became known as the ‘singing golfer’ - and was invited to sing and entertain at weddings and celebrations for some of the top names in golf - and then many other celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment. His time as professional golfer was fantastic, but as the bookings came flooding in and James was faced with the choice of Golf or Music, he found that he was happiest when singing and the rest is history! James singing career has gone from strength to strength, TV and stage performances have given James a wonderful platform and great exposure, Achieving X-Factor ‘Judges Houses’ final stage in 2008 , followed by success in the ‘Voice For Wales’ programme an experience he will never forget.

With an ever growing repertoire and upbeat personality, it just seems so natural to sing and entertain!! Each performance reflects his love for the music and the words…the voice comes from his heart and soul …inspired by ‘Musical Theatre’, Big Ballads’ and ‘Anthems’, his powerful voice delivers each number in his own distinctive style. The delight for James will always be about connecting with a live audience, leaving them feeling uplifted and wanting to hear more!

The music he sings will range from ballads and swing to 60’s pop right through to present day chart music.
