The Olli Martin Quintet features the powerful front line combination of trombone and tenor saxophone along with the classic rhythm section of piano, bass and drums. Consisting of some of the U.K’s most in demand young jazz talents, the Quintet performs Olli's original compositions. Expect exciting and energetic new music which is inspired by a wide range of influences and jazz styles, resulting in a rhythmic, melodic and varied modern jazz sound.

As a trombonist Olli has performed across the U.K and Europe with artists and ensembles including the BBC Big Band, Cory Wong, Nikki Iles Jazz Orchestra, Stan Sulzmann Neon Orchestra, Gareth Lockrane Big Band, and Alex Mendham and his Orchestra.
His freelance work takes him from west end theatre pits, to recording studios, festivals, jazz clubs, concert halls, football stadiums (Saints Brass) and private function events. Olli is a graduate of the BMus jazz course at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music and during his studies won the British Trombone Society Don Lusher Jazz Trombone Competition in 2016.
