FoFest is back – and it's even bigger! After last year’s local sell-out success, the Tap Social is delighted to be hosting this end-of-summer celebration showcasing the depth and diversity of the local music scene. There’s a bit of something for everyone, from folk, to soul, to indie, to toe-tapping Americana!
Joining festival organisers, The Motherfolkers, we have a whole host of local live acts:
Bedd
Oxford-based, 6-piece band fronted by Jamie Hyatt (The Daisies, Medal, Family Machine), carefully constructing huge swelling arrangements around Jamie’s voice and guitar.

The Holy Fools
The Holy Fools combine deep traditional roots with cosmopolitan sensibilities to craft a distinctive brand of Americana. They are three seasoned veterans of the UK music scene – Jim Driscoll on lead guitar, Harry Brzezinski on dobro and Jason Neil on stand-up bass – breathing fiery life into original songs by lead singer Chris Floyd, drawn from his background in the hills and valleys of rural Tennessee and various sojourns around the world.

Jody and the Jerms
Jody & The Jerms formed in Oxford in 2019 and since then have released three albums, many singles and toured up and down the UK learning their craft and putting on 'an uplifting and joyous live show.'
Unashamedly nostalgic sounding, with comparisons to Kirsty MacColl. The GoGos and The Bangles, the sextet provide a modern twist with many plays on radio stations around the World

Darkgnoss
A twisted rock beast featuring ex-members of Phyal, Drunkenstein and Hot Hooves (amongst many other bands). With comparisons ranging from The Stooges & Tubeway Army, Oxford's Darkgnoss are raw, unpolished and loads of fun.

The Shapes
The Shapes are a nine piece band from Oxford UK that have been performing up and down the country in venues and festivals for the past decade+.
They sing of love, loss and sometimes try to provide a social commentary with their unique upbeat indie sound which has received wide acclaim in the media.
