Event information
Sara Madaluni is an Italian jazz-fusion singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She moved to London last year and has already established herself on the London jazz scene. Citing jazz artists such as Miles Davis, Billie Holiday and Esperanza Spalding as important in shaping her own music, she also sees broadway and pop artists such as Barbra Streisand as big sources of inspiration.
Sara’s music is soulful, strong but fragile, honest, and thundering. She’s currently working on her first EP, due for release next year. As well as continuing to play live in London jazz hot spots she also advocates for promoting the accessibility of jazz.
Sara Madaluni - lead vocal/ keys, Thomas Dunk - drums, Sam Clarke - bass. Special guests Imisi Peletu - vocals, Sevde Akbaba - violin, Lilah Nathanson-Parry - tenor saxophone & Shukhrat Turdikhodjaev - alto saxophone.
