SUPPER CLUB is a pop-up dinner club by Jack Goldstein based upon and inspired by his late mum's cooking.

"My mum, Tessa Goldstein, used to live on an orchard in Combe, a small parish on the north bank of the river Evenlode in Oxfordshire. She lived at the house with both her parents and grandmother all under the same roof. They would yield lots of seasonal fruit and veg.

My mum loved to cook. She made a roast every Sunday, followed by either a lemon meringue or apple pie. Sometimes it was bread pudding. Sometimes it was a fruit cake, or some other cake she had baked. She was a fantastic baker and would often bake a cake or a loaf of bread every day. This resulted in there always being lots of sweet and tasty things to eat in the house."

Jack Goldstein is a DIY pop musician currently based in Margate, Kent. His most recent record, 'the world is ending and i ♡ u', was composed in the aftermath of losing both his parents during lockdown. He is also a nutritional chef for Haeckels, the natural skin care and wild fragrance company that produces products using seaweed harvested from the Margate coastline.
