Join much loved Yorkshire Folk duo O'Hooley & Tidow as they bring together an evening of beautiful, emotive and captivating music and song, celebrating the success of their critically acclaimed album 'Cloudheads' and performing many favourites from their extensive back catalogue. Set in the stunning setting of Halifax Minster as part of the Anne Lister Birthday Weekend, this is set to be a very popular evening and is likely to sell out quickly.

Joining them...

Katie Spencer will be opening the evening with her gorgeous, mellifluous voice and stunning guitar work, singing songs inspired by the East Yorkshire flatlands where she grew up. Katie contributed greatly to O'Hooley & Tidow's Cloudheads album and it is very special that she will be performing solo and alongside the duo this evening.

Maddie Morris will be performing her unique and beautiful songs filled with emotion and stirring lyrics. Passionately political, yet gently understated, this is music that deftly treads the path between art and activism. Belinda O'Hooley has contributed piano to Maddie's highly anticipated new album, which will be released on the duo's Co-Operative record company; No Masters.

Miriam Skinner lives down the road from Belinda & Heidi and as well as a good friend of theirs, plays the most sublime cello. When she's not performing as part of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, she offers her emotional and tender playing to the duo's songs including Cloudheads, Chimneys, Moors & Me, The Songthrush and The Ballad of Anne & Ann. Miriam will be accompanying the duo.

Jude Abbott is most well known for her iconic trumpet playing in anarchist band Chumbawamba. Not only does she run No Masters record label, but she also lends her trumpet and flugelhorn playing to many of O’Hooley & Tidow’s songs. She is a good friend of the duo and was even Flynn’s tour nanny for a while.
