Talks by Ian Preston, Retrofit Coordinator, of Ecofurb (The Low Carbon Home Service), and Dermot Barnes, Head of Sustainability at City, University of London.

Ecofurb

Ian's talk will cover how to get started on your retrofit journey, including Ecofurb's retrofit service and contact with vetted installers. Ecofurb offers an expert analysis of current energy use in your home, and a plan to reduce it.

Avoid contractor, design and specification pitfalls.

Dermot's talk will advise on professional accreditations and how to find the right installer. For Dermot's full professional biography see the details of his 'Retrofit Essentials' talk on 24th October. His two talks will not involve duplication, so those interested are encouraged to attend both.

The talks and questions will be from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and there will be a chance to continue discussion and questions afterwards over refreshments.

The talks will be in person but will also be livestreamed. The link for livestreaming will be sent to all ticket holders the day before the event.
