Black Pantera – what a cool fronine… 2 dreaded Black guys upfront on bass and guitar, guitarist songs…suitably feline…and a guy in a wrestling mask drumming. Not sure I could play ‘Punk Rock Nigga Roll’ on the radio but they say it how it is and it’s gotta be their right to holler that loud and proud. From Brazil… punk cum thrash metal Bob Vylan vibes is what I’m getting. Righteous.

Black Rooster – Lucille upfront showing how it’s done…punk attitude supreme, and just the right balance of psychogy and fuckolgy to paraphrase a certain famous old punker. Great songs, great band, the new lineup is really kicking.

Safe At Any Speed- cool young London band with louche indie nous and low slung punky tood. Something like a 21st Century LDN Void Oids. Rock and bleedin Roll mate. Promising band...

Kosta Burgess- Solo acoustic blues, does a neat rendition of Led Zeps “in my time of dying”
