MHSG member and professional landlord James Tanner will show a virtual tour of an Edwardian house in Dukes Avenue completely retrofitted for energy efficiency, while retaining the character with all original features. Works include internal and underfloor insultation, draughtproofing, solar PV panels. Followed by Q&A with James and domestic refurbishment contractor Dominic Snow.
Dominic specifies insulation strategies and renewable energy systems for mostly domestic dwellings, but also public buildings. Since 2014 he has given an annual lecture on internal and external wall construction and other sustainable construction and retrofit technologies.
This will be an online only event, with the virtual tour followed by a question and answer session. The zoom link will be sent to all ticket holders before the event.
