London Prog Gigs are proud to host this fantastic double-header of modern progressive music at London's lovely new cabaret-style seated venue, The Camden Club.

NINE SKIES is a French progressive rock band formed in 2017, inspired by many influences, including rock, pop, and jazz. Their third studio album 'The Lightmaker' was released in September 2023 and tells the story of Rudy, who is now living his 1001st and final life. The album retraces some of his existences through the view of several characters and the introspection of these various incarnations which encourage reflection on the human condition.
For their 2023 UK tour they will be joined by Charlie Bramald (Ghost of the Machine, Nova Cascade, ZIO) on vocals.

THE JOHN HACKETT BAND : John Hackett has been a much-loved and admired figure in the progressive rock scene since the mid-70’s; best-known for his flute work with his brother, former Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett on albums such as Voyage of The Acolyte, Sketches of Satie and Please Don’t Touch. ‘Progressive’ music in our sense of the word is based on rock-solid song-writing coupled with hot jazz drumming, melodic, funky bass, outstanding guitar in the form of Nick Fletcher (often compared to the late great jazz-fusion maestro Allan Holdsworth), and John Hackett himself – whose flute playing has graced so many albums and travels with such ease between classical, folk and rock.

THE CAMDEN CLUB is London's newest and most exciting venue (opposite The Roundhouse in Camden/Chalk Farm). Cabaret-style seating with gourmet 'Burger Bites' table service - please support the venue by buying food and drinks as this keeps venue hire prices down, enabling bands to play here. Tables are unreserved; get here early for the best in the house!
Entrance is via a flight of steps up from street level and then a flight of steps down to floor level. Please contact the organisers if you need to use the accessible (step-free) entrance.
