Event information
Salford Choral Society returns to the beautiful church of St Clements, Chorlton for a Christmas Concert, based on the music of 'The Manchester Carols' - a re-telling of the Christmas Story through 12 secular carols, written by Dame Carol Anne Duffy, the former Poet Laureate, with music composed by Sasha Johnson Manning - a work first premiered at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2007. Other music will include a premier of a carol written by one of our choir.
