Sussex based acoustic quartet Jambalaya launch their live-recorded EP ‘Yemeya’ in Brighton. Expect a seamless blend of music inspired by African, European and Indian genres, weaving beautifully crafted melodies and rhythms with kamele’ngoni (West-African bridge harp), flute, cello, voice and percussion, creating a musical language that is at times enchanting, beguiling and transfixing with subtle joy and warmth.

Their support artist is virtuoso kora player Ansumana Suso, son of legendary Gambian Griot and balafonist Mawdo Suso and singer Jalimuso Kumbia Suso. Ansumana has a prestigious talent, performing internationally, also on balafon, guitar and percussion.
