so excited to welcome Blair Dunlop, a Nearfield Artist, showcasing his 5th studio album 'Let’s Get Out of the Rain' with a series of shows that includes a well anticipated return to play another terrace cred. date in Brighton.
Blair has been hailed as one of the UK's most accomplished songwriters since he burst into the folk scene with his debut 'Blight & Blossom' (2012). BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards followed
along with critical acclaim.
In 2016 Blair released on his own label (Gilded Wings) and received wider acclaim and BBC Radio 2 playlisting for singles ‘The Egoist’ and ‘356’.
Appearances at Glastonbury and the major Folk Festivals followed, along with breakthrough tours of Australia. and Blair is now firmly established as a household name amongst respected British songwriters.

This is Blair’s first Studio album since 2018's introspective analysis of Brexit Britain, 'Notes From An Island'. This new collection is a celebration of spring, newness and freedom. Songs of metamorphosis and wide screen road trips prevail.

Blair is a massively impressive writer and performer, with a distinguished pedigree, who continues to grow and blossom. terrace cred. has kept a close eye on this chap. His mum is acclaimed folk singer Judy Dunlop and his dad is the mighty Ashley Hutchings. We're delighted to have seen Blair grow in stature since a very early Greys gig, where his dad, accompanied him, and are well happy to bring Blair back to the delightful Folklore Rooms.
